Dr.Sabrina N. Russ, PharmD,BCGP
Our Story....

Simplicity Pharmacy Services and Wellness Center,Inc. was established in 2004 and is comprised of licensed and Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacists who work with Seniors to provide Medication Risk Assessments on their medications. Our Compassionate and Caring Pharmacists will asses your Fall Risks and look for opportunities to safely remove any unnecessary or potentially harmful medications (also known as Deprescribing). We will explain the purpose of your medications, side effects to be aware of, as well as possible drug interactions that can occur. We guarantee that you will no longer feel confused about your medications or feel "over-medicated". Allow our pharmacists to educate and serve you!
Dr.Sabrina N.Russ,PharmD,BCGP, is the Owner of Simplicity Pharmacy Services and Wellness Center,Inc. and she has been practicing Pharmacy
for over 25 years. When asked why is this service important, Dr.Russ stated:
"This company was created because of my experience of working in pharmacy and having my elderly patients come into the pharmacy confused because they were taking so many medications, but no one would take the time to educate and explain to them about their medicines."
Past Accomplishments
In 1999, Dr.Russ received her Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) in Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina and in 2009, she received her Doctor or Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D) from the University of Florida. As a result of her concerns for medication safety in her Senior patients, in 2007, she became Commissioned as a National Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist. Dr.Russ was awarded the 2012 American Society of Consultant Pharmacist Entrepreneurial Grant for her innovative ideas in the care of Geriatric Patients. In 2023, Dr.Russ was the 2nd place winner of the $30K Power Up Competition for Start-Up Businesses hosted by Integrated Media Publishing in partnership with Entrepreneur and Author Erik Weir.
Present Ambitions
Over the past 10 years, Dr.Russ began to notice a rise in chronic diseases and obesity among her patients. Most of her time was being spent educating patients about Nutrition and Diet, and less about medication management. Patients wanted to learn ways to decrease the amount of medications they were taking and how to prevent further disease complications through diet. These questions peaked Dr.Russ' interest to learn how she could focus her practice more on disease prevention, while bridging the gap between conventional medicine and health and wellness. In 2024. Dr.Russ became a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach to assist patients with sustainable lifestyle and behavior changes to bring forth transformation in their health.
Future Goals
Dr.Russ plans to expand her services by opening a Community Pharmacy to be able to meet the needs of Seniors in her community.
